Classic Tint started in a barn in early 2023. Not a metaphorical barn, an actual barn, where we practiced pulls and patterns until the work was good enough to charge for. Then we made it better anyway: top-tier training programs through Max Pro and Detroit Tint Studios, Geoshield film exclusively, and a plotter so no blade ever touches a customer's glass.
Home base is the old service station at 428 West Pike Street in Morrow, a building from the era when the guy at the corner garage knew your name and stood behind his work. That is not nostalgia to us, it is the business plan. Two years in, more than 500 customers have trusted us with their vehicles, homes, and storefronts, and most of the new ones walk in saying a friend sent them.
The promise that built that list is simple: we treat every car like it's our own, and if you are not satisfied with a window, we replace it free.

A lifelong UPS man, Dave started out driving box trucks and retired from the company a few years before co-launching Classic Tint in 2023. Thirty-plus years of showing up on time and doing the job right did not retire with him. He is usually the one walking you through your options, and the quote he gives you is the price you pay.

Chuck spent the majority of his career in quality control, including aerospace QC, where "close enough" gets people hurt. He co-founded Classic Tint in 2023 and brought that inspection-grade eye with him. He is the reason an edge you would never have noticed gets redone before you ever see the car.
Tint is a craft, and we refused to learn it the cheap way. We put ourselves through professional training programs at Max Pro and Detroit Tint Studios, two of the most respected names in the industry, and we came home with certificates and standards to match.
That training shows up in the details: computer-cut patterns, edges tucked to the seals, glass prepped like it is going under a microscope. It is also why we install Geoshield exclusively. Great film in trained hands is how a lifetime warranty stops being a gamble.
